We each had a glass of their Kombucha - very refreshing, and a nice light compliment to our lunch flavors. I thought their fish tacos were by far the very, very best I'd ever had (and I order them everywhere!) My wife appreciated the incredible variety of vegetarian/vegan offerings - with true 'power' ingredients in their bowls. We were very impressed with the atmosphere and offerings created by Bryan and Mark, appreciating the local ingredients infused throughout their creative menu. went back two more times during our 10 day visit. We took a loaf of their home made bread with us (see Maui Artisan Sourdough) - and we were back the next day for more! This establishment quickly became our favorite, and in fact we. Loose the cheese and greens and maybe try order from Katz's back in the Big Apple, so you know what a traditional pastrami sandwich is supposed to taste like. Rating: A+ on the meat, A on bread (but maybe not for this sandwich) and pickles chips were tasty and sour. Parking is LIMITED and it's easy to miss the entrance to what few reserved spots are available.

The service was excellent -the help is indeed helpful, the young man who took my order me showed me how to use their no contact in house on line ordering and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. As for the mysterious sauce on the side, I think it's intended to be some variant of Honey-Mustard, was also tasty but purists wouldn't dream of putting it on the pastrami. I think this place has potential, but if they're going make their own really good pastrami they might at least have take a stab at the classic version.
A pastrami sandwich needs a good rye and not an artisanal loaf. Their bread, while delicious is all wrong for the meat. New York deli school of pastrami sandwiches (you know on Jewish Rye with Russian Dressing) and their pastrami while absolutely first rate is gunked up with some weird gooey yellow cheese and some withered unknown greens.
On the pastrami, it's the real deal, genuine peppery plentiful juicy pastrami, but sorry to say I'm from the. Had my first carryout lunch from Alchemy, picked the pastrami sandwich to go and also bought a loaf of the sourdough bread.
